WORKSHOP MENTOR, JULY 2021
Songwriter/Composer, Artist, Engineer/Producer Annelise Noronha has proven herself to be a creative force to be reckoned with.
A move to Prince Edward County in 2016 helped Annelise reconnect with her creativity, and explore having a more active role in her arts community.
In 2020, she released her 6th full-length album titled In The Headlights on Zero Degrees Music, with a limited vinyl release. Look forward to a Christmas EP in the fall of 2021, and a children’s record collaboration with her brother Shaun Noronha.
Her previous releases include:
The Strange and the Beautiful But Mostly The Strange – The Wish Factory
My Dog Is You – Annelise Noronha
Dinky! – Dinky!
Send is a Four-Letter Word – The Safeword Project
The Coldest Day of the Year – Arctic
As an audio engineer and mixer, she has worked with the most indie of artists, to some pretty famous ones (Jennifer Lopez, Oscar Peterson). She has mixed film scores for Lesley Barber (Manchester By The Sea), and for Oscar-winner Mychael Danna.
And as a musician (guitar/bass/accordion), her gig history is prolific, from large festival stages to the tiniest of venues, both as an artist, and as a side player for Selina Martin, Justin Rutledge, The Warped 45s, Arlene Bishop, Dave McEathron, Pamela Brennan.
“..Annelise is a great talent, it just shines out of her.” – Lonelle Selbo – Life Au Lait Magazine
